Bible Reading Schedule
updated Aug 2014 Calendar & Sept 2014 Calendar
Did you know that Jesus and the prophets studied the Torah? To learn how to walk as Our LORD walked, we also need to study the same Scripture He did.
During the time of the Prophet Ezra, it is believed the Torah (Pentateuch) was divided into 54-weekly readings (called Torah portions or Parasha). In addition, there are special holy day readings. By Simchat Torah, immediately following the Feast of Tabernacles (aka Feast of Booths or Sukkot), the Torah is concluded. The following Shabbat, the cycle begins again. This reading schedule has continued until today.
